P.s I made steamed egg with minced meat for dinner! Using the rice cooker. Bowl on the still-cooking rice, literally(cause I don't have the steam basket). And it turned out a success! So proud of myself. (:

Only thing I'm looking forward to.. the day I'm gonna fly back home. (:
Can't wait to sleep in my own room.


That's uhm.. before the last A-Level exam. Excuse the untidiness. That is so not me. ;)

Hey peeps.

I played with lego building blocks till my nose bled yesterday. HAHahah. :)

Now I know that building something from lego can be so addictive to me! Just few weeks ago, me and my friend spent bout 3-4 hours just to build the ground level of the same building which is about 22cm x 13.5cm x 25cm.

Lego OD? Or maybe its the weather/season change in UK?

Friday morning.
Rain is falling.
8.10am on my watch.
I jumped out of bed.
I was gonna be late for a 9am class.
Got dress, freshen up and had a bowl of cereal.
Rushed down 4 flights of stairs.
Called Careena(coursemate) to ask where she was.
"I'm in my room"
And it hit me.......

My class on Friday only starts at 10am.
I was a big dummy since I woke up today.
And I even told my flatmate that I woke up late cause she woke up late too. But she actually has class at 9am while I THOUGHT I have class at 9am.
This is the second time I felt like a big dummy, rushing downstairs and wait for my friend while the receptionist and cleaners were getting ready for the day. I hate Friday mornings.

Hey peeps.

Woke up today to find that outside my window was really really foggy. It was at bout 8.30am? Felt really weird cause all I can see was just the other half of my hall across the courtyard. Luckily, I have some pictures to show!

The BB curve camera not bad eh? :) But that doesn't stop me for wanting to get a new camera!!

Anyway, yesterday was the Frank Morton Sports Day, where all the chemical engineers around the country gathers to compete in sports. As usual, I don't participate in such events. So, me and my friends decided to have our own, quote WaiLum, "mini Frank Morton", in the Sudgen Sports Centre, right opposite to where I'm living now. Just riiiiiiight across the road. :)

Some of us played basketball and the rest played badminton.
Basketball : FAIL.
Badminton: Masih boleh tahan.
So, I played badminton! Didn't realised how much I miss playing badminton. It totally made my day. :) Since I haven't done any sports since I got here (5 months ago), my body is still aching like mad since last night. Quote someone, "Aaaaaaaiyoh Old alreaaaaaady."

Weather report: Fog in the morning, Sun for the REST of the day! WOOHOO.
My PBL(problem-based learning) groupmate once told me that "The sun always comes out before it snows" I have a bad feeling it is going to snow tomorrow. The MSN weather forecast says there's gonna be snow tomorrow evening. Hope they're wrong wrong wrong!

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! :)

Its my first time celebrating CNY away from home. A little homesick but fortunately my cousins and friends were here with me. (: We had steamboat this year (apparently they have steamboat almost every chinese new year in the UK). So, doesn't make this time any different from the others. Fun part was me and Ying Ling get to go walk around and buy some stuff for the mini reunion dinner that night, i.e YeeSang/YuSheng/鱼生/余升. Both of us were carrying that around and people were staring at us, thinking "whoa! why are they carrying that huge-ass thing?" or "whoa! what are they carrying?". Cause you know.. that thing comes in a big plate. So yeah.


OKAY. Steamboat then hang around and chat then it was 12am then me and NicSoo syok sendiri shouted "Happy New Year!" then us 3 cousins went on skype with family back in Alor Star, Malaysia. Everyone was either in red or pink. And us 3 in grey. (I wore red the next day, fyi)

We didn't really take much pictures. I think I need a camera now. Seriously. :(

Anyway, yeah but most of all CNY wouldn't feel like CNY without my all-time FAV...

Hey peeps. Just got back from my first concert of the year... Jason Mraz's and I have to say one thing:

JASON MRAZ ROCKS MAH SOCKS!!!

His concert is better than expected.
His live performances are so much better than the recordings in his album. :P
He is so talented!! gawd.
He invited Penny Dai to sing with him the duet he did with Colbie Caillat!
His crew is awesome.

Although I got home sweaty and unsatisfied since I didn't get to join the standing crowd in the pit :( , I still had fun. x)

Greetings, foolish earthlings. Whatever. Hey peeps! x)

HAPPY CNY!

It's been awhile. Class is starting on Tuesday. GAWD. I'm so lazy as usual. Been sleeping at 4 almost every night and waking up at 2 or 3 in the afternoon the next day.

Anyway, I'm so not happy with CNY this year. I'd say its probably the worst I've ever had!

Because::

1. Spent my whole day doing MATHS.
Gaaah! Unexpectedly, an FP1 paper took me ages to complete. By the time I completed bout 2 papers? The sky is already dark. I don't even get much time to hangout with my cousins. ):
It sucks having papers either on or after CNY.

2. Water shortage.
My grandmother's house hasn't changed for more than a decade. It's not spacious since only my grandmother, my aunt and uncle lives there. Thus, there is only 1 tank of water in the roof, to bathe the whole family. Tank will be full when the sun rises and EMPTY when the sun goes down. Tank refills in the middle of the night. Cycle repeats. So, uhm.. not to say we don't bathe cause that would be gross. Well, either we shower before the water runs out or we will have to shower somewhere else. o_o interesting....

3. Power failure.
Great. Just great. Power failure on CNY. AND its in the evening, which lasted for few hours. It wasn't so bad cause then we got out of the house and the kids started playing ping pong. Then the sky turns dark and we can't see the damned ping pong ball. It's okay. We can still stone. Stoning is uhm.... cool and you wouldn't be aware of your surroundings and before you know it the power comes back on. Then comes the most annoying THING in my world, which is my 4th point. I went back into the house and I was so happy when the lights are back on. Guess what? It didn't even last for 5 minutes and the power went off again. Whatever. At least I wasn't the only one to suffer. :P Mind you, this happened last year or maybe the year before.
Moving on...

4. Mosquitoes.
AH yes. THE MOST ANNOYING THING in my world. They're EVERYWHERE!!! Gaaaah!! Many times, many times in my life, I've been wishing that mosquitoes will extinct, together with their best buddies, a.k.a flies. Ya damned houseflies. Ya damned mosquitoes. Okay, I won't be so bad to wish for them to extinct. Instead, I wish for them to go vegan! Damned female mosquitoes, go feast on fruits or vegetable juices like your spouse does.

PHEW! Okay, I'm done ranting x)

Actually...... Nah. What I've been through on that day may be bad but hey, its CNY and I'm always happy on that day, no matter what. Know why? ........ Good food and angpau. ;)

P.S oh yeah! I've finished 2 and 1/2 seasons of Grey's Anatomy in a week. What an achievement eh? :D
