I... I.... I only scored 45% for my 2nd Mechanics test!!!!! This SUCKS!!!! >_<
Anyway, we went to the Zoo Negara to volunteer on last thursday, which is on 20th of March I think. We meaning me, Kevin, SueAnn, Khyeren and JinKhai. Don't ask me for pictures cause you know I don't take pictures and SueAnn forgotten to bring her camera, so we used KhyeRen's nokia phone instead. So, GO ASK HER! Okay. We had to clean up the giant turtle area. Sweep leaves. Tiring? Not really. Its just sweeping leaves, how much strength do I need? Hmm~ I just got annoyed by the mosquitoes there, as these tiny yet annoying FEMALE blood-sucking insects usually come out in the morning for their breakfast. PFFT! This is worse than going back to my hometown, which has been labelled by dear Krys as "mosquitoville". I've gotten like bout 12 bites in less than 2 hours!! And I got paranoid cause they all look like Aedes mosquitoes. I hope the bites don't leave scars, teehee.
After cleaning the area, we were given bout 30-45 minutes of break. Some of us were hungry, so we went over to the food store to grab some food. They had triangle-shape packet nasi lemak, which cost 2 bucks per packet. o_o RIDICULOUS, isn't it?! I ate a packet anyway. The wind blew, it was cooling but the wind brought along the smell of the giraffes and elephants, which was terrible. PEEEEEE EEEEWWWWW! Stinks.
Back to the giant turtle, it was feeding time for them. The zoo keeper brought in a basket full of vegetables and fruits. It was kinda fun feeding the turtles. Whenever I look at their giant shell, I just felt like sitting on it. xD But that is a no no cause it has been done before and was caught on camera by some tourist, who then used the picture to complain. o_o Well, I like listening to turtles chewing the veg cause they made it sound as though raw vegetables are yummy. Teeeheeee.
F.Y.I, it was my first time going to the zoo and I've learnt that giant turtles have really sharp teeth! xD Who says going to the zoo isn't going to help you gain knowledge? We tried looking for the moon bear that SriKDU adopted after seeing the tiger that is adopted by SriKL. I think its a tiger. o_o But then we couldn't find it. o_o We kinda got lost and were walking in circles. Hehe. Sad isn't it?
