Yes yes. Just wanted to share something with you lots. Something that I came across and almost forgot until I visited yingling's old blog. :p Something that she made before she left for the UK after year 2005.

We love you, Ling Ling! <3
Dateline for courseworks are coming up and here I am trying to think of something to blog about. Oh I know. I shall talk bout them effing fire alarms that kept going off at ungodly hours of the day/night for the whole of 2 weeks. Two at 12am, One at 3am, One at 7.30am, One at 10pm.. etc... Either some low life bastards tripped the alarm on purpose or the Uni just needs to fork out some money to replace the current ones, which I assumed to be faulty.
So, we started on Environmental Technology class today. Introduction was good. But what comes after was just too boring to listen to, i.e struggled to stay awake during class. Fortunately, he ended it half an hour earlier. Yay! :)
As for yesterday, my friend (Yee You) and I went to help out the Japanese Society to collect funds for the Britist Red Cross: Japan Disaster Relief. At first, it was pretty embarrassing to stand in the city centre, outside the busy mall and shout out to the crowd bout the fundraising event, then we got used to it and it felt good when people actually donated after hearing us out. And since there wasn't any Red Cross Voluntary vest left, I had to pin up a piece of white cloth with a painted red cross on my front and assist those with the fund-collecting buckets. It wasn't surprising when people came up to me and asked if this fundraising event is genuine, i.e all money collected going to Red Cross. -_- Oh! And then this weird dude came up to us and started a conversation:
Dude: Where are you from?
Us: Malaysia and Hong Kong.
Dude: Are you Japan's neighbour?
Us: Not really.
Dude: Is Japan bad?
Us: (HUH?!) Uhm.. Yeah its pretty bad right now.
Dude: Really?? O_O Japan is a bad neighbour?!?!
Us: OHH NONO! We meant Japan is in a pretty bad situation right now. Not a bad neighbour. It is a very nice country. :D
Dude: Right.
And he left, saying that he wants to get change from somewhere so he could donate and we didn't see him again. Weird much?? Overall, I think we did a pretty good job cause we practically finished a whole roll of stickers (which were given when one donates). Teehee!
Alright. Tuesday was my lab day! Lab started at 11am and I only got out of bed at 10.30am. :D Genius. Rushed like mad as usual. Very bad habit of mine and I left my phone in the room. :( Okay. We had to conduct an experiment on the LARGE distillation column. FML. So we had to put on the safety helmet, rubber gloves and lab goggles. How professional. :p What we did was just: Set reflux ratio, Wait, Record Temperature, Collect Distillate, Wait and repeat again. Boring. I know. And I have another lab session tomorrow. Yay me. And you know what I realised? People keep telling me that I look tired/sleepy since secondary school. Even now in Uni, my professor asked if I was tired after my lab session on Tuesday. Its the dark circles I tell you. Must rid of them dreadful dark circles!! >:(
OHH btw Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Can't keep my eyelids open any longer. Later peeps.
